Contact the Ongeto Living team

Whether you are looking for a specific piece, have a question about a maker, or want to share feedback on the catalogue, we read every message. Tell us what you are searching for and we will point you in the right direction.

Partner with a local eye

We are always looking for independent makers, small-batch studios and flea-market regulars who work with honest materials. If you make furniture from reclaimed wood, fire ceramics with local clay, weave textiles by hand or shape brushed metal into lighting, we would like to hear from you.

Tell us about your process, the materials you use and where you are based. Our team visits workshops in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, and we review every submission before the next seasonal catalogue goes live.

What happens next

  • We read every message and reply within three working days.
  • If your work fits the catalogue, we schedule a short studio visit or a call.
  • No pressure to commit — we only feature pieces we have seen and handled.

Fields marked with an asterisk are required. The more context you give us about your materials and process, the easier it is for our team to understand your work.

Talk to the team behind the catalogue

Whether you are looking for a specific piece, want to know more about a maker, or have a suggestion for the next seasonal update, we read every message. Reach us directly and we will get back to you within two working days.

Studio and showroom visits

Our space in Mduduzimouth is open for browsing by appointment. Come see the current seasonal selection in person, feel the materials, and ask about commissioning a piece directly from a workshop.

Direct lines

For questions about a specific item, delivery timelines or care instructions, the fastest way is a phone call during studio hours. For detailed enquiries, written notes or photos of a piece, email works best.

If you are writing about a piece you purchased, include the item name or the maker's name from the catalogue. It helps us pull up the right context quickly.

What happens after you write

Messages are sorted by the same team that curates the catalogue, so you are not talking to a call centre. We check the studio mailbox every morning and reply in the order enquiries arrive. If your question is about a piece that is currently out of stock, we will tell you honestly and, where possible, suggest a similar item from the current season or put you in touch with the maker directly.
